I used the Empathic Voice Interface for a small project. Integration was straightforward. The API responded quickly. No major issues to report, it did what I needed it to do for the demo.
Good tech, billing confusing.
I tried the Octave TTS and was quite impressed with the voice quality and emotional nuance. It was better than I expected for a text-to-speech. However, understanding the billing structure was a bit confusing initially, especially with the difference between Octave and EVI pricing. The free credits were helpful to start. Delivery of the API response was fast, no lag there. Customer support responded in about 2 days when I had a question about my usage, which was okay. Overall, good tech, could improve the clarity of pricing on the dashboard.
